The first character you ever create on an account opens with a dream inside the Forgotten Sanctum.
You watch Eloria, the Light, sealed and sleeping above the altar, while the Forgotten One speaks from below.
Then you fight it - as a warrior you have never met, in full Genesis gear.
Nothing you do in the dream is saved. When it ends you wake in Eloria Village as your own level 1 adventurer.
Six beats, each one pausing the game and lighting up the single thing it is about:
Drive the Forgotten One below 75% health and the seal above you cracks open.
Eloria gives you the Creator's Wings and the Creation aura, and your Strength, Vitality and Endurance are multiplied 2.6x.
You are healed to full. The rest of the fight goes your way - which is the point.
At 22% health the Forgotten One stops being something you can beat. It awakens, and the dream ends the way it warned you it would: the Awakened Forgotten One fires Creation Beam, and the warrior you were remembering falls.
You cannot kill it - its health will not drop below 16%. There is no version of the dream you win.
That is the story: "You are not the hero of this dream. You are only remembering him."
There is a Skip button in the top right during the cutscene and the fight.
During the cutscene it jumps straight to the fight. Once you have control it ends the dream and wakes you in the village. It disappears once the Forgotten One awakens.
The dream only plays for the FIRST character on an account - every character after that starts in Eloria Village directly.
