The Patron's Crest is a pass you buy in DAYS, not a subscription.
Nothing renews on its own and nothing is ever charged automatically — when the days run out, it simply lapses.
Buying again while one is still active adds the days onto what you have left, so buying early never costs you anything.
Everything it gives is convenience: time saved, walking saved, small daily frustrations removed. Open it from the crest icon at the top-left of your screen, under the channel button.

▸ Upgrade anywhere — reach the blacksmith's upgrade bench from the field
▸ +50 kg carry capacity
▸ +25% EXP — this stacks ON TOP of an EXP Boost Potion, for 75% together
▸ Hold 10 Scrolls of Protection at once instead of 5
▸ 30 active marketplace listings instead of 20
▸ A Patron loadout slot of its own, above your usual ones
The exact numbers are set on the server and can change; the crest panel always shows what your Crest actually grants right now.
Three of the benefits are counted rather than unlimited, and the crest panel shows how many you have used.
▸ Respawn on the spot — 10 a day. Revive where you fell instead of walking back. Auto-Hunt Settings has an Auto-Revive on Spot switch that does this for you 60 seconds after dying while auto-hunting, so an unattended session keeps going; it spends one of the same 10, and once they are gone the normal death screen is shown instead.
▸ Free talent respec — 1 a day. No Respec Scroll is consumed.
▸ Free faction switch — 1 a month. The usual switch cooldown still applies; you save the Lumina, not the wait.
Daily counts reset at midnight UTC and the monthly one on the 1st. If a faction switch is already free for everyone during an event, it does NOT use up your allowance.
You can buy a Crest for anyone on your friends list — open the crest panel and choose "Gift to a friend".
You pay, they receive. The days land on their account straight away, along with a mail telling them who it came from, and you get a note confirming it arrived even if they are offline.
You do not need a Crest yourself to give one.
The benefits simply stop — nothing you earned while it was active is taken away.
Gear you upgraded stays upgraded. Lumina, gold and items are untouched.
The Patron loadout slot is the one to know about: the build saved in it is NOT deleted. The slot greys out and cannot be applied, and everything in it is waiting exactly as you left it if you buy more days later.
If you were over the normal carry weight when it lapsed, you simply cannot pick anything else up until you are back under it.
